Semisubmersible Mobile Production Unit

The Molly Brown (formerly known as Petrobras XXIV) is a twice-upgraded semisubmersible production unit, with existing processing trains for up to 60,000 barrels of oil per day and 36 million cubic feet of gas per day, total power output of 8,000 kW, as well as 24 slots for riser connection and accommodation for 94 men.

The unit was originally built as a drilling rig in Brownsville, Texas, and named Penrod 72.
