    History

    The 80,000m3 ‘Gaz Concord’ was acquired by Compass Energy Group in 2004 and subsequently renamed ‘Gas Concord’. The vessel was traded actively until she won the Belanak LPG-FSO contract in late 2005.

    Under the turnkey contract, Gas Concord was converted into an LPG-FSO for ConocoPhillips’ Belanak Field in Indonesia. The conversion was executed at ST Marine shipyard in Singapore.

    Gas Concord was delivered to ConocoPhillips in February 2007 and has since then been operating on site.

    History

    The 225ft mat-supported Bethlehem type jack-up rig was purchased jointly by Compass Energy Group and Production Testers International in 2004. The unit was originally designed as a mobile offshore drilling unit named ‘J.W. McLean’ (also ex-Indo Pacific Perdana) and was renamed ‘Soraya’ following her acquisition.

    History

    Molly Brown is a large semi-submersible acquired by Compass Energy Group in late 2005. The unit was originally built by Marathon Le Tourneau in Texas for drilling services and was named Penrod 72. Subsequently, the semi was renamed ‘Intrepid’ and further to ‘Petrobras XXIV’ when she was converted into a production unit for Petrobras.

    Compass Energy was responsible for the conversion engineering of the rig from a production semi submersible to a 650 men DP2 accommodation rig.
